Get Character MovementUE 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7updated 2mo agoPattern: InputAxis MoveForward → Multiply_FloatFloat(A=AxisValue, B=1.0) → AddMovementInput(WorldDirection=GetActorForwardVector, ScaleValue=Product). Repeat for MoveRight with GetActorRightVector. Key pins: AddMovementInput inputs: 'WorldDirection' (Vector) and 'ScaleValue' (float). Input Axis event output pin is named 'Axis Value' (float).
WorldDirection is usually GetActorForwardVector or axis input. ScaleValue is axis value (-1 to 1).
AddMovementInputUE 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7updated 2mo agobXYOverride/bZOverride: if true, replaces current velocity. If false, adds to it.
